Apprenticeships

Home / Monkwearmouth Academy / Apprenticeships
Monkwearmouth Academy aim to support students to make informed decisions about their post 16 progression routes. Apprenticeships are one possibility that students may choose to pursue.

All year 11 students will be given the option to join an Apprenticeship Workshop starting in February 2017. If it is a pathway that they wish to pursue they will attend the workshop on a weekly basis in their Social Studies lesson and will receive support from our Connexions advisors. The workshop will be preceded by an information evening in which parents will have the opportunity to come along and find out more about apprenticeships by organisations which deliver them.
