Our College Hub Facilitator, Kim Smith, recently hosted a one hour session providing careers staff, curriculum developers, teachers, students and parents with an insight into the exciting electrification developments happening in the North East.
The session took the format of a Q&A with MD and Founder of Avid Technology, Ryan Maughan, who is also Chair of EV North.
For those wanting to find out the importance of electrification and employer priorities, this session provided an overview of the electrification industry and the important role played by the region, and included discussions on the skills needed for entering this industry, together with the current and future job role opportunities.
